A linear optocoupler is formed by coupling aluminum gallium arsenide infrared LED with two photodiodes: one photodiode is used for generating control signals for LED feedback mechanism to drive current, thereby compensating for the nonlinear time and temperature of the LED, and the other photodiode is used for providing current isolation between input and output circuits, thus possessing excellent linearity.
