The MOS Solid State Relay is optically coupled to a high-voltage output photodetector circuit using an aluminum gallium arsenide infrared light-emitting diode as the input stage. The photodetector circuit consists of a high-speed photodiode array and a driving circuit, to turn on/off two independent high-voltage metal oxide semiconductor field-effect transistors (MOSFETs).
MOS Relay has a pair of MOSFETs in the output stage and provides the same functions as mechanical relays and reed relays. Compared with mechanical relays, MOS Relay has advantages such as long service life, low current driving, and fast response. It is widely used for non-contact switches in semiconductor testing systems, safety systems, and other fields such as telecommunications switching, data communication, battery management, industrial control, medical equipment, etc. Hualian provides MOS relays in SOP4, DIP4/SMD4, DIP6/SMD6, DIP8/SMD8 packages, etc.
Besoides the common models in the market, Hualian also provides miniature packaged optocouplers (USOP4, S-VSON4T, VSON4 packages, dimensions as small as 2.0×1.45×1.65mm, COFF as low as 0.8pF, RON as low as 0.1Ω) which can be widely used in high end semiconductor testing equipment such as SOC, RAM, etc.; Ultra-high-voltage optocouplers (VDRM>1700/3300V), ultra-high-voltage optocouplers (VDRM>1700/3300V), ultra-high voltage optocouplers (VDRM Ultra-high voltage photocoupler (VDRM>1700/3300V), high current photocoupler (Io>3.5A), and normally closed MOS Relay.
